Terms of Use

The conditions for reading and using Curious Compute’s website and newsletter. Last updated: October 3, 2026.

1. Scope of these terms

These terms describe the conditions on which Curious Compute makes its website, editions and newsletter available. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Copyright & Attribution page. If you do not accept these terms, please stop using the service. Nothing here removes rights or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

2. Our publication

Curious Compute publishes explanations, analysis and commentary about AI and emerging technology. The website is currently in preview; labeled editorial drafts are not approved publications. Newsletter signup is configured through Kit. Publishing frequency may change; the archive records editions actually released. The current service has no reader accounts, paid subscriptions or on-demand AI question interface.

3. Editorial standards and limitations

We aim to support factual claims with sources, distinguish interpretation from reporting and make uncertainty visible. AI may assist preparation, but publication requires human editorial review. Examples and conceptual illustrations should be read in their stated context, not as evidence of an actual event. Sources and technologies can change, and errors can occur. Send proposed corrections to briefing@curiouscompute.com.

4. General information, not personal advice

Our content is for general information and education. It is not personalized legal, financial, medical, security or other professional advice. Check primary sources and seek appropriately qualified advice when a decision requires it. A discussion of a product, model or technique is not a guarantee of its performance, safety or suitability for your circumstances.

5. Newsletter subscriptions

Use only an email address you control or are authorized to use and complete any requested confirmation. You can unsubscribe through the newsletter or contact us for help. Delivery depends on the newsletter provider and your email service. Subscribing does not authorize unrelated marketing, and reading the website does not automatically subscribe you.

6. Responsible use

Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the website, distribute malicious code, submit someone else’s address without authorization or impersonate Curious Compute. Do not falsely present our work as your own or imply that we endorse you. Automated access must respect applicable law and must not evade security controls or impose unreasonable load. Ordinary linking, assistive technologies and lawful uses of content are not prohibited by this section.

7. Content and permissions

Rights in protected original content remain with the relevant rights holders. You may read our freely available material and share links to it. Reproduction and reuse are addressed on our Copyright & Attribution page. Third-party materials retain their own rights and license conditions. Nothing in these terms creates exclusive ownership of facts, ideas or material that is not protected by law.

8. Messages and feedback

You retain any rights you hold in messages or feedback you send us. We may use those communications as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate a correction or improve the publication. Sending a message does not grant us a blanket right to publish your private correspondence or personal details; we will seek permission before attributing a private submission publicly unless another lawful basis applies.

9. External links and commercial disclosures

External websites and products operate under their own terms and policies. Linking to them does not guarantee their accuracy, availability or quality. If we introduce sponsored placements or affiliate links, we will identify them where they appear. An editorial mention alone does not indicate a commercial relationship.

10. Availability and liability

The publication is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content or a particular outcome from its use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. These limitations do not exclude liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes and access restrictions

We may update content, change features or restrict access where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or misuse. Material changes to these terms will be identified with a revised date and any additional notice required by law. Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen. We will seek agreement where applicable law requires it.

12. Applicable rights and contact

Curious Compute is operated from Texas, United States. Nothing in these terms limits rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions about these terms can be sent to briefing@curiouscompute.com.
