Copyright & Attribution
How to share our work, respect source material and raise a rights concern. Last updated: September 27, 2026. Pre-launch draft for review alongside our publication policies.
1. Original editorial work
Original human-authored writing, design and illustrations are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. Rights remain with their respective owners. Curious Compute is our publication name, not a claim of ownership over every source or asset displayed on the website. Facts, ideas and publicly available information are not made exclusively ours by appearing in an edition.
2. AI-assisted material
Some material may be prepared with AI assistance, including the Signal Lens illustration. We do not assert exclusive copyright over purely AI-generated elements merely because we generated or published them. Protectable human contributions and any third-party rights must be assessed separately. AI assistance does not remove our responsibility to review material before publication.
3. Sharing and reuse
You are welcome to share links to our editions. For full-text republication, syndication, translation or reuse of protected illustrations, contact briefing@curiouscompute.com for permission unless an existing license or applicable law already permits the use. Attribution is appreciated but does not itself create permission. Fair use, fair dealing and other applicable legal exceptions remain unaffected.
4. Sources and third-party materials
Research papers, linked articles, product names, trademarks and other third-party works remain subject to their owners’ rights. We aim to explain developments in our own words and link readers to the original evidence. Any third-party asset must be used under an applicable license, permission or lawful exception. A citation does not transfer copyright, imply endorsement or authorize reproduction of an entire work.
5. Brand use
Do not use our name or logo in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation or approval. Accurate references to Curious Compute and uses permitted by law remain allowed. Contact us before using the logo in promotional material where permission is needed.
6. Reporting a rights concern
Email briefing@curiouscompute.com with the page URL, identification of the material in question, the original work or other basis for your claim, your relationship to the rights holder and a contact address. We will review the concern and may seek clarification, correct attribution or remove material as appropriate. This contact process is not a representation that we have registered a statutory copyright takedown agent.
